Authentic passion drives everything we do
We seek individuals who are insanely passionate about new media and web 2.0. They must obsess over this space and it must consume their lives. Everyone on the team must be excited about our mission to connect students to the new media and web 2.0 industries.

Burning desire and ability to make things happen
Passion and smarts are important, but those just won’t cut it without the desire to make things happen and the ability to get things done. We look for true and tested leaders who can go off and make magic happen.

Exploration Committee:
The exploration committee will be the group of people that startups and companies will contact when they want Penn students to try out their latest digital products. The exploration committee will focus on fostering learning about various products and technologies in short tutorials or demos. The committee is seeking organized individuals who will coordinate logistics for tutorials of new and innovative digital tools and products. Responsibilities include: finding interesting technologies to bring to campus, running tutorials, booking venues, and ordering catering.

Interactive Committee
The interactive committee will create interactive experiences using new and exciting technologies similar to IMG’s Venmo GeoHunt from last year. The interactive committee will choose a few products to dive into deeply and create an engaging experience that showcases multiple aspects of each product. The committee is seeking students who are always up to date on technology products and startups, allowing them to incorporate the best products in these interactive experiences. Responsibilities include: being consistently aware of the technology space, integrating multiple technologies to create interactive experiences, and partnering with the companies/startups that own the relevant technologies to create unique experiences.

Building Committee
The building committee will reach out to companies and startups to bring speakers and entrepreneurs to campus to discuss their experiences working on digital in various industries or creating a startup in the digital space. The committee is seeking students who are excited to build relationships with entrepreneurs and industry professionals and bring them to campus to engage with IMG members. Responsibilities include: reaching out to prospective speakers, booking venues, ordering catering, greeting speakers, and booking transportation and hotels.
